I
am interested in the evolution of sociality and reproductive
strategies in group living animals. In particular, I investigate the
extent to which kin relationships influence the behaviour of
individuals in different social circumstances.
My current research project aims at investigating how
migration decisions affect male reproductive success in male dispersed
primate species, and identifying the influence of kin availability on
the adoption of different migration strategies.
These and other questions of interest are primarily
addressed using a combination of behavioural, demographic and molecular
genetics data, complemented with the development of simulation models.
